After many emails and messages about the colors of stain that I use, I decided to call Minwax and find out why people could not find the colors that I have been using. After speaking to the representative at Minwax, I had the answer, it turns out that the True Blue and Scarlet colors that are offered by Lowe’s are colors that are made specifically for Lowe’s. The other locations that you can purchase the water-based Minwax stains do not offer the True Blue or Scarlet colors but they do offer other similar colors.
