DIY
DIY has always been a passion of mine. From carpentry, which I learned mostly from my dad, mechanics which I learned alongside a close friend under a shade tree, auto body repair and painting which I actually went to college for, and gardening which I learned from trial and error and from my parents.
In my early years, I had many different jobs, but it wasn’t until 1996 that I found the job that I would call a career, Law Enforcement. Currently I am a sergeant in Community Services in a neighboring city and I still enjoy law enforcement.
Personal Life
I am very happily married with five children and three grandchild. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, camping, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, woodworking, carving, forging, gardening and playing the guitar. I just don’t have the time to enjoy all of these as much as I want to.
The Furrminator
If you’re curious about the name “The Furrminator”, it actually came along over 20 years ago when I signed up for my first personal email account and I needed a name, so off the hip I came up with “The Furrminator”. Now, the name didn’t stick with me until 2002 when I started making turkey calls. The turkey call business that I named Furrminator Calls didn’t really take off because I had too many irons in the fire, but I did make and sell a large number of calls locally for several years and many of my friends and acquaintances started calling me the Furrminator.
YouTube
I started watching reviews on YouTube a few years ago and in June of 2014 I decided to video some reviews of my own. I figured that maybe I could help others with reviews just as I had been helped in the past. I really enjoyed the videoing and editing of the reviews which led me to adding some DIY and How-To videos. With the growth of my YouTube channel, I decided to add a website with blog posts.
I spend a lot of my spare time in my dad’s shop working on projects and I’m hoping to increase the time and projects so that I can provide a weekly video for my YouTube channel.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day.
